New INCEPTION images are actually impressive

I’m not usually impressed by the images studios release of their upcoming films. They’re generally plain to look at and don’t serve much of a purpose other than to give bloggers an excuse to post the film’s title in yet another headline (note the irony), so it’s nice to actually be impressed by a set of images for a change.
Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Inception is already a timeless masterpiece if you ask most fans online. Whenever this film gets the slightest mention, Nolan appreciators are all over it with excessive praise and excitement– and with good reason. Recently, I wrote about how intrigue for Inception is growing and now this extra set of images add to the mystique surrounding it. The bath, gun-pointing wet and violent image is full of excitement, while the dutch-tilted frame with teh guy casually walking through proceedings had my head tilted in wonderment.
All I can think about now are the encouraging murmurs and whispers from the cinema crowd that could be heard after the trailer played to those who hadn’t seen it online– it felt like being part of something that everyone was going to see, like being let in on a secret. Mr. Nolan, you’re onto a good thing yet again.
