My wife adores Nicholas Cage, so I’ve seen just about everything he’s appeared in– from classics like 8MM, Raising Arizona and Adaptation to the embarrassing stuff like Knowing and Next. There are plenty of people online who have stirred a hate-trend toward Nicolas Cage based on, well, how he sorta acts the same in just about every film… but it’s silly to deny some of the better movies he’s appeared in. Like the recently decent Kick-Ass, for example. Film was killer, he was mediocre– we shouldn’t fault the man for continually churning out work, good or bad. Disney recently released a teaser poster for their upcoming rehashing of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which stars the chameleon himself. This time he has stringy long hair and one very serious, mean looking stare… not to mention the smoking dragon-snake ring.
