These utterly uninspiring Jonah Hex character banners further demonstrate how Warner Brothers are keeping things as close to a proven template as possible. All originality has been thrown out the window and they’re clearly sticking to what has worked in the past on promotion for films like X-Men and Harry Potter, because these look exactly like that… only worse. Add to this the terrible trailer which hit recently and you’ve got a potent mix for box office disaster. Just my guess.

Jonah Hex stars Josh Brolin, Megan Fox, John Malkovich and Michael Fassbender, and hits US screens June 18. Aussies get to wait an extra month (August 12) before we endure it.

Did I mention Megan Fox plays a prostitute? Just sayin’.
