Just when you thought RESIDENT EVIL couldn’t get any tackier: AFTERLIFE poster and images

Jun 01

If the incredibly unconvincing trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife didn’t give me enough warning that the 3D-horror-actioner is going to be cheaper than a cup of piss (yes, even though it’s in ‘real’ 3D) then this new poster by a first-year design student will help me realise I’d be wasting my money if I give it a chance. Even the publicity images look like they’re lifted from a TV movie, which is fitting considering they feature Wentworth Miller from Prison Break — he’s playing Chris Redfield and Milla Jovovich is back as Alice for this fourth Resident Evil instalment.

Resident Evil: Afterlife hits Australian screens 7 October 2010, September everywhere else.

But I don't understand — Wentworth Miller's skull is bigger than his biceps, so there's no way he could realistically portray Chris Redfield! Plus if he doesn't spend at least 20% of the movie yelling “SHEVA, SHEVA, SHEVA!” I will be extremely disappointed.

Wait Chris Redfield is in the movie? Grr why couldn't they base the movies on the games storyline not this new stupid storyline. Dont get me wrong 1 & 2 were great and number 3 was highly anticipated for me because of the way number 2 ended. But then 3 was released, they went all world crisis shit and it was NOT the storyline i was wanting.

Now its just guilty pleasure to watch this pile of shit (chucks it along side the saw sequels)
