The start of internet porn: MIDDLE MEN trailer
Jun 18
Porn. There’s no stopping it. Pick any medium and you’ll find a solid pornographic market there. Sex sells, as we all know, and the hardcore market is rolling in so much cash.
How fascinating would it be to witness the story of the guy who brought porn to the masses like we’ve never seen before? In 1995, Jack Harris made online credit card payments possible for internet users worldwide and became an instant millionaire as a result.
I had no idea this guy or the story behind him existed until I saw this trailer for Middle Men. The trailer is presented in typical fashion and the cast is loaded with B-graders, but it still had me raising my eyebrows with interest. Being able to see the emergence of such a huge industry and how it gathered so much momentum fascinates me… even beyond the scantily clad women.
I’d like to see Middle Men one day, but no Aussie dates are announced as yet.
The US release is 6 August 2010.
In 1995, everyone had a VCR, music was sold in record stores, and the world-wide-web was a new found discovery. Businessman Jack Harris (Luke Wilson) had the perfect life – a beautiful family and a successful career fixing problem companies. And then he met Wayne Beering (Giovanni Ribisi) and Buck Dolby (Gabriel Macht), two genius but troubled men, who had invented the way adult entertainment is sold over the internet. When Jack agrees to help steer their business, he soon finds himself caught between a 23 year-old porn star and the FBI all the while becoming one of the wealthiest entrepreneurs of his time. Inspired by a true story that proves business is a lot like sex… getting in is easy, pulling out is hard.

Haha i had a few laugh out loud moments in that trailer…well the start of it. Trailer addicts never seems to work on your site i always have great difficulty.
Looks hillarious, sleek and well one to not take the girlfriend to.
Actually come to think of it…she owes me a life time of guy-movies after dragging me along to Sex & the City 2…i think i just found the perfect film to take revenge
