It was while I watched this trailer, for the third movie in the Ben-Stiller-awkwardly-interacts-with-Robert-DeNiro series, during the cast run-down at the end, that it struck me: Laura Dern is a lot older now than she was in Jurassic Park. Heck, I was 3 when that movie came out, and look how much I’ve changed; I can quite comfortably use toilets designed for human beings now. Still, it’s a bit of a shock to see her ageing gracefully when she’s still young in my Jurassic memories. Did I mention Jessica Alba’s in this movie? No, I don’t know why, either.
Little Fockers stars Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Jessica Alba, and several other people whose names I can’t remember right now (Barbra Streisand! There’s one) and comes out on 22 December 2010, just in time for that big snowy thing that Americans pretend is Christmas, when we all know Christmas takes place in the dead of summer. Holy shit, you were THREE when Jurassic Park cam out?? *checks for grey hairs* This series is a guilty pleasure of mine. The trailer is rubbish but I'm sure I'll chuckle at the film when I see it.
I remmeber the hype around the school yard with Meet The Fockers, my peers said it was the funniest movie of all time. Well it didnt live up to that but i laughed quite a lot. Wheres Dustin Hoffman? Him and Barbra Streisand made the last film.
I agree– Hoffman and Streisand were hilarious.
