Robert Rodriguez’s much anticipated production of Predators hit cinemas today, and with it came the awesome bonus of a trailer for Machete, his upcoming return to the director’s chair. To coincide with the trailer playing in cinemas, Fox have also splashed a bunch of deliciously grungy new Machete images, posters and lobby cards across the web, delivering just a handful to some leading movie sites online: Slashfilm, CHUD, Latino Review, Coming Soon, Rope of Silicon, FirstShowing and MovieWeb. Each have different images to check out.
They feature the likes of Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Danny Trejo and Steven Segal. My favourite has to be the Robert De Niro poster and the lobby cards are impressive, too. I’ve collected a bunch of them below, but be sure to visit each site if you want further details and some deliciously high-res quality images.
Machete was originally just a fake trailer between features in the original Gridhouse film but fan reaction prompted Robert Rodriguez to actually make it (read more and see the trailer here).
Machete is being released on 3 September 2010.

I just finished Machete, and although it wasn’t as good as I’d anticipated, I did enjoy Michelle Rodriguez in her Bikini top at the end.. and holy crap she has a freakin’ smokin’ body lol
