Here we go again. Another one of those horrid, ridiculous, waste-of-time spoof movies that takes advantage of latest pop culture references and crams them into a plotless, pointless 90-minutes and aims to sell lots of tickets… and they do. What’s really gritting my shit about Vampires Suck (geddit?), is that it’s catering, somewhat successfully, to both fans of the Twilight saga as well as people who can’t stand it (like me).
Some of the jokes they crack in this trailer are exactly how I see Twilight in my head. So, for telling the truth and just putting on screen what everyone knows is true, I applaud them. That doesn’t change how awful the film looks, though, and is still a far cry from classic spoof films like Hot Shots and Spaceballs.
Vampires Suck arrives courtesy of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the same guys that brought us spoof trash like Disaster Movie, Epic Movie, Scary Movie, Date Movie and Meet The Spartans, so you can gauge what kind of ‘film’ to expect.
Vampires Suck is released State-side on 18 August 2010.

That girl does a surprisingly good impersonation of Kristen Stewart. Also, this movie looks terrible.
I showed this to a group of Twilight fans (including my girlfriend) they found it hilarious because “Its exactly like the film and their taking the piss out of the chessyness of the film”.
Maybe ill go see this with her instead of watching the actual Twilight movies.
I dunno i actually laughed in the trailer but the reputation behind their movies is beyond repairable.
