First trailer for WELCOME TO THE RILEYS, featuring Kristen Stewart as a stripper

You may not be aware that Australia has its own Dream, in joking response to the American one. The Australian Dream is to own a house in the suburbs and raise a family there, and to one day comfortably retire into a life of watching cricket and drinking beer.
How many movies have come out of America in the last decade bemoaning the belittling reality of living in a regular house just like everyone else? Lots, that’s how many; trust the yanks to find something to complain about in a perfectly peaceful and contented lifestyle. James Gandolfini musn’t be getting enough cricket or beer.
This one has Kristen Stewart as a stripper in it, though. Is it sad that Welcome To The Rileys’ biggest selling-point is the degradation of a hyper-popular starlet? A little bit, yes. It’s gathering positive buzz (mostly for its performances) like a static stone cultivates moss, so that, in conjunction with Stewart’s altered presence, might justify a viewing.
Other than that, Welcome To The Rileys, like the American Dream, doesn’t have a lot going for it, besides blind optimism.
