They finally rendered a picture of Ryan Reynolds in his GREEN LANTERN suit

The digital team behind the upcoming blockbuster Green Lantern have finally released a rendered image of star Ryan Reynolds wearing the groovy new suit, complete with green mask and glowing ring (on his finger…). There have been no leaked images of the suit before this because the suit never existed — it’s completely being rendered digitally in post production.
I never grew up with comic books and have no idea what the deal is with Green Lantern, but I sure can appreciate how fans might be getting excited about the design of the suit. Even I’m impressed, and I’m part of the audience they need to sell the movie to. Fans are going to see it, regardless. The fabric appears to take on similar form as muscles and the power from the ring causes the grooves to glow. Wait, why am I describing it to you? Check it out for yourself, below.
The image has appeared on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly in an issue that previews the upcoming 2010 Comic-Con.
Green Lantern is due for release 17 June, 2011
Heard about this full cg suit, can't wait to see a trailer to see how it really looks. In the same boat as you I have no idea what this Superhero is about
