Reel Short: CL!CK

Reel Short: CL!CK

Jul 25

No, not that comedy starring Adam Sandler that actually made people cry at the end for emotional reasons– not just from the pain of sitting through an Adam Sandler movie…

CL!CK is a wonderfully crafted short film using stop animation, live actors and LEGO blocks to create what turns out to be a wonderful promotion for LEGO. The masterful thing being that I didn’t care I was being sold LEGO blocks because the short film was short, sweet and entertaining. And it made me want to crack out my son’s LEGO box and build some spaceships. Very similar to why Old Spice might be selling well recently; thanks to their outstanding Superbowl commercials people are too busy being entertained to care that they’re actually having yet another product hurled at them.

Ever wonder where big ideas come from? If you’re a fan of LEGO bricks, eureka moments, or guys with odd mustaches, you really should see this. Great ideas just CL!CK.
