So, the live action/CGI animated movie adaptation of Yogi Bear is fast approaching (don’t act surprised) and Warner Brothers have started rolling out some marketing material. Along with this incredibly busy poster (below), the first trailer will be online in about 24 hours.

Yes, that’s CGI animated characters mixing with live action humans. Think Garfield and Scooby-Do. Then remember it’s aimed at the kiddies and take a deep breath. I’m more worried about the countless children that will have to endure their Fathers doing Yogi impressions, saying “loverly pic-a-nic” in that irritating voice.

Yogi Bear is voiced by comedian Dan Aykroyd, while Justin Timberlake (there’s that singer guy again, why does he keep popping up in upcoming movies??) voices Boo-Boo Bear. Unfortunately, Anna Faris will not be on screen; her cartoony voice is instead being used for Rachel.

Yogi Bear will be on your cinema screens over Christmas, starting 17 December in the States. In 3D, of course.
