Image of Ghostface on set confirms SCREAM 4 really is in production

Here’s a picture of Ghostface on set of Scream 4, from director Wes Craven‘s Twitter. Of course, if I told you this was a pic from any of the Scream films, you’d believe me. It’s that fascinating.

Pictures directly from the sets of films in production are always a little bit ‘meh’. I guess there’s a level of excitement for horror fans and while I’m a fan of the first Scream, I’m holding back any excitement for Scream 4 until I see a teaser or trailer. Even despite original writer Kevin Williamson also writing this fourth instalment.

Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette all return for this sequel, and Roger L. Jackson, the voice of Ghostface, will lend his talents again.

Scream 4 opens 15 April 2011 in the States. Aussies have to wait until 11 May 2011 (first term school holidays, you see…)
