Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 will open in November and make a gajillion dollars. In the meantime, Warner Bros. is doing everything it can to make sure you contribute your fair share to its bid for global domination when the time comes.
To that end, here’s a series of new character images from Harry Potter 7. There’s Bill Nighy in there (as the popular but ineffective new Minister of Magic) and Rhys Ifans (as loveable nutcase Luna Lovegood’s old man), and some other guy I don’t recognise playing a character I’ve probably forgotten. I think I imagined someone more along the lines of Eric Idle for the role of Lovegood, but Nighy’s a good choice for the Minister character. I think.
Part 1 of The Deathly Hallows hits on 18 November 2010 (19th in US and UK); Part 2 comes out in July 2011.

Really? Thats the character posters? What a pathetic excuse. Usually the HP Character posters are surrounded by fantasty. This looks like your high school graduation picture
They’re not posters. They’re just pictures.
Sorry misread your headline.
It is a very bleak and dark movie, I guess the ‘fantasy’ imagery might have been removed to allude to the dark origins within the series which we will start to witness. It still is very ‘fantasy’ based with the magic and all, but not as joyful or harmless as the previous Harry Potter film. It is drastically different to past movies, especially the first few Harry Potter films which could be classified as playful and maybe mediocre in terms of danger and fear created, however I for one am extremely looking forward to the release of this hopefully epic finale to a great franchise that I have grown up with (I’m only 18) ;) It has been good and it feels very strange for something so good to come to an end. Good character posters or not, the movies are very well executed and all true fans can only agree, besides these aren’t the real, final products of the posters. Look at the real posters, they are indeed ‘fantasy’ based and are breathtaking and surreal.
