Remember how the fourth Final Destination film was called The Final Destination, not listing itself as a sequel and indicting that it was indeed the last film for the franchise? Seems nobody thought it would actually turn a profit because, when it did, a fifth film was quickly green-lit. So now you can enjoy the frantic trailer which feels like all the others before it as a cast of characters get ready to go through the same bullshit for a fifth time. In 3D (yawn).

Also remember when this was almost going to be called Anal Destination? No, really…

Gee, I wonder who she ends up with in the end?

A mix of friendly famous faces, some Ohmygosh moments (which are set pieces in films like these) and a song from P!NK in the background and you’ve got a carbon copy romcom trailer ready to sell to the female audience. Proceed with caution.

Anna Faris does go ‘full Borat’, though. That might have been interesting if it involved her wearing the ‘mankini’ and not just doing his accent. Oh well. Maybe next time, in the sequel: What’s Your Number… Again?
