Pixar’s BRAVE teaser is perfect timing
Jun 28While the world cringes at Cars 2 (and kids point to the screen in anticipation of they new toys they can buy), Pixar have moved quickly to wash the unsavory taste out the mouths of fans by feeding them this sweet teaser for their upcoming feature, Brave.
Frightfully strange new poster for CARS 2
Apr 12Disney/Pixar (yeah, that’s a ‘thing’ now) have released this rather strange retro-style poster for the upcoming June release of Cars 2. Take from it what you will. I guess the film does have that whole international spy plot going on (according to the trailer).
You can click on the poster and inspect a nice high-res version, if you’re keen.
Second MONSTERS INC. film will be a prequel
Mar 30Today Pixar announced their follow-up film to 2001′s Monsters Inc. will not be a sequel but a prequel, titled Monsters University. It’s the first prequel from Pixar and it will detail how Mike & Sully met at university and didn’t see eye-to-eye at first… pun intended.
Monsters University is scheduled to make money at the box office and win the Best Animated Feature Oscar in 2012.
Ka-chow! New CARS 2 international poster
Mar 23Say what you will about Cars being the Pixar’s worst movie– the merchandising for the Cars franchise is the most profitable of any of their films (including all three Toy Story‘s) and shareholders worldwide couldn’t be happier about Cars 2– no matter how tacky it looks. Here’s a new international poster that’ll grace cinema walls soon. Ka-chow!
CARS 2 extended trailer is still disappointing
Mar 11Animation studios everywhere should scramble like crazy to release their Oscar-winning animated films this year, because Pixar don’t seem to stand a chance.
They’ll absolutely rake it in with merchandise sales– that’s all they need to count on.
