Summit have released the ultimate final poster for their action comedy ensemble romp RED starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.
I have no idea where this film came from and I like it that way. The cool posters and increasingly funny trailers have taken me by surprise and I’m definitely looking forward to this being a fun time at the cinema (whenever they announce an...

Disney have released the first poster for their upcoming animated film Tangled. Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy provide voices for Tangled, which takes a new spin on the Rapunzel character after the kingdom’s most wanted bandit tries to hide in her tower. Naturally, she’s filled with modern-day-woman empowerment and is not effected by his charm.
Animation fans are already raving...

Here’s something I’d expect to see hanging in a video games store– a new banner for Zack Snyder‘s upcoming action revenge flick Sucker Punch. I didn’t know what to expect when the first trailer finally arrived earlier this week, but I guess I should have expected something loaded with lavish CGI from the director of 300 and Watchmen.
There’s absolutely no doubt Sucker Punch...

It’s safe to assume Saw 3D (the 7th Saw film) is going to be mediocre, right? This franchise has a history of sometimes producing noteworthy trailers and other promotional material, getting fans (??) excited about possibly seeing a worthwhile addition to the saga and then letting them down. Hard.
Seems there’s a trickle of excitement following the new Saw 3D trailer and, yes, while it might seem...

So, the live action/CGI animated movie adaptation of Yogi Bear is fast approaching (don’t act surprised) and Warner Brothers have started rolling out some marketing material. Along with this incredibly busy poster (below), the first trailer will be online in about 24 hours.
Yes, that’s CGI animated characters mixing with live action humans. Think Garfield and Scooby-Do. Then remember it’s...

Many words have already been spilled over the perceived superfluity of the Let The Right One In remake Let Me In. What turns me off, though, is the people involved. Sure, Cloverfield was fine, but Matt Reeves isn’t exactly a big-ticket name, so why are they advertising it as such?
Then there’s the casting of Kodi Smit-Mcphee and Chloe Moretz in the lead roles: I think they should have cast...

Two of my favorite actors in Robert De Niro and Edward Norton come together again in dramatic-thriller roles (the last time being Fran Oz‘s highly underrated The Score), and Milla Jovovich playing a seductive temptress keen to get her husband out of jail any way she can?
Sign me up.
Directed by John Curran, Stone will only be released on limited screens in the States from 8 October 2010, but we’re...

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson sports some impressive tattoos, ink that no suburban white Australian could ever pull off. Thankfully the tattoo displayed in this teaser-poster for his upcoming action film Faster is ‘Shopped, otherwise it would be extraordinarily lame. Ten bucks says he rocks up to the premiere with a temp of it on his arm, though.
Dwayne Johnson’s return to action films was...

After the absolute hiding M. Night Shyamalan has been getting for The Last Airbender, some fans (if he has any left?) are approaching a project he’s merely attached to with caution.
Shyamalan came up with the story for Devil as part of a planned film series for Universal, but he did not write or direct the final product we are going to see. Writing was left to Brian Nelson while Drew Dowdle and John...

After whipping up a quick frenzy online last week with a rash of kickass grindhouse images for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete, Fox have followed up with their awesome new theatrical trailer. It’s action packed, it’s loaded with famous names and it certainly sets an exciting tone for the film… but it’s a lot cleaner and a lot less ‘grindhouse’ than I was expecting,...
