New sky-blue and tame FAST FIVE poster is pissweak

What the fuck?! This poster doesn’t say action! This poster doesn’t say fast-paced excitement! This doesn’t say non-stop-ass-kicking ahead! No. This looks like a pissweak indie poster for a film graduate’s first feature, save for the somewhat famous people holding guns at the bottom, standing rather awkwardly.
Definitely just a U.S. poster, because it boasts ‘Summer Begins April 29′. Thankfully, that’s when the cold sets in Down Under.
This poster sucks. Fast Five fail.
3 character posters for stoner movie YOUR HIGHNESS

A stoner movie set in medieval times titled Your Highness. This concept is fucking genius. How has this never been thought of before? Either way, I applaud the ironic title and cheesy comedy found in the trailer (embedded below). Don’t ask me how I hadn’t seen until just a few minutes ago. It’s the first no-brainer cheap-laughs comedy I’ve looked forward to in a long time. Actually, Bad Teacher is also on my agenda… Strange.
James Franco stars with Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, Danny McBride (who also co-wrote), Zooey Deschanel and Justin Theroux. No surprises, Your Highness is directed by Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green and hits screens from 8 April.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES movie poster finally arrives

Nothing to see here, folks. Just a picture of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow yet again. This time he’s front-and-center in the new uninspired and straight-forward poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. I mean, really, what more do they need to do at this point?
Pirates 4 will make a fuck-ton of cash starting May 20.
Confirmation SCREAM 4 was re-written during production
Mar 14In some ways it’s a Wes Craven film, and in a way it’s not entirely, because it’s not a script I have control of. It’s ultimately controlled by what the studio wants in the script. My job is much more bringing whatever experience and expertise and creativity I can. Look, there was a bumpy period when things shifted over from Kevin (original screenplay) to Ehren (re-witer). I signed up to do a script by Kevin and unfortunately that didn’t go all the way through the shooting. But it certainly is Kevin’s script and concept and ideas and themes.”
Wes Craven, now in post production on Scre4m, confirming the rumours that Scream 3 writer Ehren Kruger was brought in by Dimension to re-write Kevin Williamson’s original screenplay.
This kind of thing happens all the time, it’s just a little surprising given that Williamson wrote Scream 1 & 2 while Ehren wrote part 3– the worst Scream film of the trilogy.

Tilt your head like a curious puppy at the new SUPER 8 poster

Just hours after releasing a phenomenal new trailer for Super 8, Paramount Pictures have also released an interesting new poster for movie blogs to tote around. We can all ignore the horrible bevel-embossed Photoshopping on the typeface and move right along, can’t we? Oh, and the lens flare… where would JJ be without that lens flare?
Seriously, though. if you haven’t seen the Super 8 trailer yet, do it now!
