Horrible Bosses looks like the kind of movie that will make people laugh. Especially the Colin Farrell scenes. There are a couple of new chuckle-worthy moments in this extend-o-trailer, but my ticket was sold when I saw the original, green-band trailer.

Due 8 July in the States, 25 August here.

Even when he’s tied to a chair, Jason Statham is an unstoppable killing machine. Hilarious. Clive Owen plays the baddie, Robert DeNiro plays some old dude, and if you look real close, you might catch a glimpse of Aussie Yvonne Strahovsky. Given the surprisingly agreeable cast, and Clive Owen’s funny mustache, I’m actually quite keen to see this one.

Due in the US on 23 September 2011.

It’s a little bit unsettling, but a lot exciting. If you’ve ever wanted to see Michael Fassbender spank Keira Knightley, here’s your chance.

Due February 2012 in the UK. If you cross your fingers and wish real hard, we might get it before the end of the year.

Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd: you can tell the budget wasn’t a whopper, but there’s explosions, jokes, and intrigue enough for five movies. In a world full of reboots and CGI eye-torture, this shines like a beacon of hope in a sea of poorly-rendered mediocrity.

No solid release date yet, except in the Netherlands, where it comes out on 4 August 2011. Thanks, IMDB.

So this is the fifth Shrek movie, and the first one without Shrek. Just like there’s no Wolverine story in the new X-Men, and no Orlando Bloom in the new Pirates. This almost certainly isn’t coincidence; these are the dying spasms of worn-out franchises.

Anyway, this trailer was actually a little bit funny. In addition to Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, there’s also Zach Galifianakis (Beardy McWeirdo from The Hangover) and Billy Bob Thornton. Might be a good one for ‘the family.’

Due in November 2011.
